Industrial Key Account Manager – Business Development

Remote role with STÄUBLI focused on expanding strategic industrial accounts across the Northeast. Build relationships and grow customers in aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, and healthcare manufacturing.

Description

  • Create and implement plans to grow strategic customer accounts
  • Win, develop, and expand major accounts across the region
  • Establish relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and executive contacts
  • Generate new business opportunities in targeted industries
  • Assess customer applications and match them with suitable solutions
  • Develop strategic opportunities through each stage of the sales process
  • Negotiate account terms and commercial agreements
  • Partner with engineering, product management, and customer service teams
  • Represent STÄUBLI at customer locations, trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Contribute to national account development initiatives when required
  • Report to the Head of Sales – Industrial – North America

Requirements

  • At least five years of successful experience in field sales, key account management, or business development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and win strategic customer relationships
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship management capabilities
  • Experience navigating complex customer organizations and extended sales cycles
  • Effective communication with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders
  • Working familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively by car and air throughout the assigned territory
  • Ability to remain seated, standing, or walking for extended periods at customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and other business events
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport product samples, sales materials, and trade show materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Residence within the Northeast United States region
  • Authorization to conduct business travel in both the United States and Canada
  • Valid passport without travel restrictions
