Financial Solutions Advisor – Fresno, CA (Onsite)

Join Bank of America as a Financial Solutions Advisor trainee in Fresno, developing client relationships while pursuing securities licenses. Provide banking and investment guidance tailored to clients’ financial goals.

Description

  • Complete structured training toward required securities industry licenses
  • Develop and manage client relationships through a consultative process
  • Assess client needs and identify suitable financial solutions
  • Build relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
  • Deliver comprehensive financial guidance through client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals and life priorities
  • Work with banking and investment partners to support client needs
  • Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill banking and investment products
  • Train at a designated financial center and potentially support clients by phone until a permanent location is assigned
  • Advance toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and other opportunities with Bank of America and Merrill

Requirements

  • Ability and aptitude to obtain required industry licenses
  • Strong self-management skills for organizing time and workload
  • Experience developing client relationships, evaluating needs, and recommending solutions
  • Ability to build effective peer relationships through communication and teamwork
  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on client interests in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and applications
  • Obtain the SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 may be accepted instead of Series 66
  • Meet SAFE Act registration, background-check, and ongoing good-standing requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary school credential, or equivalent
  • Availability for a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services or sales experience preferred
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification preferred
