Business Analyst, Crisis and Resilience at Control Risks - Remote UK

Control Risks is seeking a Business Analyst to support crisis management, business continuity, employee readiness, and resilience initiatives for a technology client. The role covers global preparedness programs, executive training, emerging-risk projects, and resilience planning.

Description

  • Coordinate crisis and resilience activities for special projects and business units.
  • Establish consistent methods and standards for planning, training, and exercises across crisis leadership teams.
  • Lead initiatives covering crisis strategy, governance, response structures, and senior executive training and development.
  • Deliver projects across business continuity, employee readiness, and crisis management programs, including initiatives addressing emerging risks such as contentious elections.
  • Partner with team leads to strengthen resilience planning at the function and product levels.
  • Lead global initiatives that incorporate lessons from exercises and real-world crises.
  • Work with ecosystem partners to increase program awareness, improve user experience, and strengthen preparedness capabilities.
  • Develop tools that accelerate implementation of resilience program plans and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills for client-facing and internal work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A demonstrated track record of succeeding in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Two to five years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, or a comparable environment.
  • At least one year of experience in risk and resilience, preferably in crisis management.
  • Experience helping develop and mature a global resilience program.
  • Ability to turn strategic direction into actionable plans with limited guidance.
  • Experience connecting teams and managing projects through completion against KPIs.
  • Experience creating and documenting procedures and workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
