  • Provide administrative support to the VP’s Portfolio Strategy and Marketing office.
  • Manage the VP’s calendar, resolve scheduling conflicts, track commitments, and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate speaking engagements with the communications team.
  • Organize meetings, including agendas, venues, technology, logistics, briefing materials, notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Assemble travel packs for international trips with event details, travel logistics, and customer and team requests.
  • Represent the VP in communications and approvals when authorized.
  • Screen inquiries, resolve issues within policy, and recommend matters requiring executive attention.
  • Arrange global travel and manage Cisco expenses, optimizing itineraries and coordinating with airlines.
  • Support special projects with research, analysis, data gathering, and report preparation.
  • Prepare and brief itineraries, and accompany the VP at major corporate events such as GSX.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters and materials.
  • Coach new Executive Administrative Assistants and administrators.
  • Engage in the cross-functional EA network and lead the organization’s administrative community.
  • Use independent judgment, navigate ambiguity, and anticipate support needs for the VP and organization.

आवश्यकताएँ

  • At least five years of experience in an administrative setting.
  • At least two years supporting a VP or more senior executive.
  • Expert proficiency with Windows desktop applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing calendars, planning meetings, and coordinating travel.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with executives, senior staff, and clients at all levels.
  • Strong skills using web and email tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound independent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus.
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the high-tech industry is preferred.
