Claims Technician – Henderson, Nevada (Onsite)
Support Markel’s insurance claims operations in an onsite technician role in Henderson. Manage claim reports, correspondence, service standards, and workflow improvement activities.

- Complete daily claims support tasks accurately and on time in line with Markel service standards
- Respond to calls on the claims phone line
- Record new claims reports with compassion and professionalism
- Prepare and format correspondence
- Keep current with departmental service standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures
- Find opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce processing or workflow problems
- Share improvement recommendations with the team and management
- Contribute effectively to team projects and testing initiatives
- Adapt support to changing departmental and business requirements

- Proficiency with PCs, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and paperless work systems
- Ability to learn additional software needed for the position
- Strong customer service capabilities

- Some college coursework preferred
