Revenue Cycle Manager – Pennsylvania Remote

Lead billing, collections, compliance, and financial performance for RHD, a human services provider. Improve revenue operations across multiple programs.

Opis

  • Lead revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, receivables, reporting, compliance, and financial performance initiatives.
  • Oversee revenue cycle activities and manage daily fiscal services.
  • Supervise revenue cycle processes and staff.
  • Ensure services are collected accurately and on time.
  • Develop and carry out initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective billing and collection procedures.
  • Ensure claims are submitted accurately and on schedule.
  • Reduce claim denials and reimbursement delays.
  • Analyze billing and collection patterns and recommend corrective action.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable activity.
  • Maintain aging reports and follow up on collections.
  • Investigate outstanding receivables and coordinate collection efforts.
  • Escalate significant aging concerns to leadership.
  • Track revenue cycle indicators and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve.
  • Create performance improvement plans and monitor their financial results.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Assess revenue cycle workflows and identify ways to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with county, state, and federal fiscal regulations.
  • Assist with annual audits and fulfill auditor requests.
  • Maintain compliance with government reporting requirements and accounting and financial management standards.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
  • Work with fiscal staff, operations teams, leaders, auditors, payers, and insurers.
  • Improve workflows, resolve operational issues, and address billing, reimbursement, and contract concerns.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management teams.
  • Develop and maintain revenue cycle procedures and documentation.
  • Create training materials and operational tools.
  • Support staff training and ongoing development.
  • Keep financial records and reporting systems accurate.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management principles.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience managing billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with financial systems.
  • Preferred: Five to seven years of experience in a nonprofit organization.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of human services financing and budgeting requirements.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of tax and federal reporting requirements.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of GAAP.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of governmental accounting procedures.
  • Preferred: Experience preparing and negotiating contracts.
  • Preferred: Experience leading revenue cycle or financial operations teams.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Current vehicle registration.
  • Access to a functional vehicle.
  • Availability for occasional travel as needed.
  • Ability to sit at a desk or meeting table for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, twist, and climb stairs as needed.
