Field Service Technician - Bronx, NY (Hybrid)

GLORY is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Bronx-area customers. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and upgrading high-speed cash-handling equipment, with on-call field support.

  • Manage customer service and client care throughout each service engagement
  • Troubleshoot and repair GLORY high-speed cash-handling equipment independently
  • Maintain accurate control of parts and tools
  • Keep current with technical and functional changes to GLORY equipment
  • Support strong customer satisfaction throughout service delivery
  • Diagnose system faults and complete necessary repairs
  • Keep customers updated during maintenance and system downtime
  • Perform machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, and hardware or software upgrades
  • Follow all applicable safety guidelines and policies
  • Complete required Environmental Health and Safety training
  • Promptly report job-site accidents involving injury or property damage
  • Deliver service at customer locations across the Bronx, New York, and surrounding areas
  • Report to the District Service Manager

Талаптар

  • Professional studies in electromechanics or electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience, either completed or currently underway
  • Related certifications in mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office, network navigation, and email
  • Strong logical troubleshooting skills, including isolating faults to the PCB or component level
  • Ability to read and use electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital and analog circuitry
  • Experience repairing high-speed paper-handling equipment; ATM or copier repair experience is preferred
  • Three to five years of technical field service repair experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist
  • Ability to work at all customer sites as required
  • Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Availability for an on-call rotation every three to five weeks, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to drive to customer locations during working hours
  • Willingness to make occasional air and overnight trips outside the assigned territory
  • Ability to work in locations with limited accessibility
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
