Vertical Operations Manager – West | UVeye | Remote Nevada

Lead UVeye’s AI-powered vehicle inspection deployments, installations, and lifecycle services across automotive verticals. Oversee field teams, vendors, service levels, and operational performance in a remote Nevada-based role.

Description

  • Manage delivery, installation, and lifecycle service execution across assigned Fleet, Rental, or Dealership accounts
  • Deliver installations on schedule while meeting SLAs, expanding capacity, and controlling target costs
  • Direct installation and maintenance planning, staffing, safety compliance, and quality assurance
  • Complete Rental and Dealership installations within two days and Fleet installations within four days
  • Define maintenance visit scopes and ensure timely, first-time-right support
  • Serve as the operations partner to Sales and Implementation
  • Validate sales commitments, surface risks, and convert commitments into actionable operating plans
  • Lead Field Service Engineers and Service Operations Coordinators
  • Maintain 80% utilization, technical readiness, and effective capacity planning
  • Coordinate installation partners and contractors
  • Assess vendors against cost, quality, and execution standards
  • Drive on-time delivery, first-time fix performance, and target installation costs
  • Apply corrective measures proactively

Requirements

  • At least five years leading field operations, service delivery, or technical operations teams
  • Background managing distributed Field Service Engineers or comparable technical field teams
  • Experience in automotive, fleet, rental, dealership, or a similar operating environment
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional work with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Operations
  • Experience with capacity planning, resource allocation, and operational forecasting
  • Strong command of SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance measurement
  • Experience overseeing high-volume deployments, installations, or field service programs
  • Experience directing third-party vendors, contractors, and installation partners
  • Proficiency with ERP, CRM, or Field Service Management systems
  • Analytical, metrics-driven approach to operational problem-solving and decision-making
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and escalation management abilities
  • Willingness to travel to on-site locations as business needs require
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or another project management certification is advantageous
  • Able to work in vehicle service areas, rental facilities, dealerships, manufacturing sites, or warehouses
  • Able to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, bend, and reach
  • Able to work in changing environmental conditions and use personal protective equipment when required
