Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, AI Cybersecurity — F5

Lead customer onboarding and technical deployments for F5’s AI cybersecurity solutions. Partner with enterprise engineering and security teams to accelerate implementation, adoption, and long-term outcomes.

Description

  • Plan and lead new-customer technical onboarding, defining scope, milestones, and success measures.
  • Manage the post-sales technical partnership and act as the primary contact for customer engineering and security teams.
  • Create and deliver structured implementation plans that reach First Time to Value quickly and consistently.
  • Surface delivery blockers, expectation gaps, and capability needs, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Coordinate handoffs and share operational knowledge across Sales, Engineering, Services, and Product.
  • Build reusable processes, technical documentation, implementation templates, and internal runbooks.
  • Organize support activities, triage technical problems, and work with Support and Development to resolve them.
  • Represent customer needs and capture feedback that shapes the product roadmap and future services.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of experience in a post-sales technical position such as TAM, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or Implementation Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience developing or deploying AI systems and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including networking, containers, and security protocols.
  • Background leading on-premises, hybrid, or complex SaaS technical deployments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers in regulated sectors.
  • Clear communication and effective project management abilities.
  • Comfort working proactively and independently in a rapidly growing, ambiguous environment.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration is preferred.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Western United States and able to work in the Pacific time zone (PST).
