Sales Development Representative - United States Remote

Generate qualified opportunities for RRD’s marketing, print, packaging, and supply chain services through targeted outreach, discovery meeting coordination, and Salesforce pipeline management.

Description

  • Schedule qualified appointments with prospective clients to support sales growth
  • Route leads to sales representatives for additional qualification and conversion
  • Engage prospective clients through established outbound prospecting methods
  • Build interest in discovery meetings with RRD Sales Executives
  • Map relevant contacts within target accounts and present suitable RRD products and services
  • Research prospects’ businesses, priorities, and objectives online
  • Build a valuable sales pipeline through focused, strategic prospecting
  • Partner with sales colleagues to create and refine target account lists
  • Manage prospect relationships and pipeline activity while delivering a strong customer experience
  • Hand off qualified leads to the sales team after the initial discovery meeting
  • Record and manage all lead-generation activity in Salesforce
  • Review prospecting strategy and performance with Sales Leaders

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, communications, or a related discipline preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • At least two years of sales and telemarketing experience, including cold calling
  • Experience or interest in digital marketing services preferred
  • Documented success meeting or surpassing lead-generation goals
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other sales technology
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Effective time-management and organizational abilities
  • Capacity to work independently and contribute effectively within a team
  • Practical knowledge of prospecting and lead-generation methods
  • Experience conducting outreach by email, phone, and social media
  • Strong research ability to identify prospective clients and understand their business needs
  • Ability to address objections while remaining positive through rejection
  • Flexibility as market conditions and sales approaches change
  • Professional, customer-oriented approach to business development
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Availability to work in the CST time zone
