Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist — Davie, FL

Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for clinical, operational, administrative, and leadership roles supporting mental health and substance-use treatment services. This fully onsite position is based in Davie, Florida.

Description

  • Own recruitment from candidate sourcing and screening through offers, clearances, and onboarding
  • Work with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and shape recruiting plans
  • Fill clinical, operational, administrative, and leadership vacancies
  • Run structured interviews using Breezy HR, scorecards, and Topgrading methods
  • Facilitate hiring huddles and deliver candidate recommendations, interview feedback, and recruiting metrics
  • Manage references, background checks, drug tests, credential verification, and onboarding documentation
  • Track pre-start preparation, training, manager check-ins, new-hire feedback, and 100-day retention
  • Develop candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, social platforms, networking, schools, career fairs, and community partnerships
  • Contribute to employer-brand and recruitment-marketing programs
  • Coordinate interviews, recruiting priorities, and events within a Monday–Friday schedule
  • Occasionally travel to company sites, schools, career fairs, and community events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable relevant experience
  • At least two years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or a related field
  • Strong capabilities in sourcing, interviewing, networking, and relationship development
  • Experience balancing multiple openings, priorities, deadlines, and hiring metrics
  • Highly organized, responsive, data-oriented, and confident communicating with candidates and leaders
  • Interest in developing across talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee experience
  • Willingness and ability to work fully onsite
  • Ability to travel locally
  • Ability to meet DCF and AHCA Level 2 background-screening requirements
  • Healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other regulated-environment recruiting experience is preferred
  • Experience with Breezy HR or another applicant tracking system is preferred
  • Experience with structured interviews, Topgrading, onboarding, or credentialing is preferred
  • Background in employer branding, recruitment marketing, social media, or career events is preferred
  • English-Spanish bilingual proficiency is preferred
