Product Designer — Remote in Mexico
Design the end-to-end experience for an AI-powered legal platform. Create clear, trustworthy workflows, interfaces, and design systems for professional users.
Description
- Lead product design from problem definition and user flows through wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
- Create intuitive interfaces for complex, information-rich document review and analysis workflows
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver accurate, responsive, and accessible interfaces
- Interview users to understand their workflows and evaluate design decisions
- Develop and maintain the design system and component library as the product evolves
- Contribute to the product’s brand and visual direction when needed
- Partner directly with founders and engineers to turn a rapidly changing roadmap into clear, intuitive, trustworthy experiences
Requirements
- 3–5 years of product design experience delivering production software, preferably web applications
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work, including flows, interaction design, and polished professional interfaces
- Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping and using or creating design systems
- Ability to simplify complex, expert workflows into clear and approachable experiences
- Strong self-management and communication skills for working on a small, distributed team
- Proficiency with AI tools and a track record of using them to improve efficiency
- Experience designing for professional or expert users, such as in legal, medical, finance, or enterprise settings, is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience collaborating closely with engineers in code is a plus
- Experience with brand or visual identity beyond product interfaces is a plus
- Interest in AI and LLM products, particularly designing for user trust, is a plus
