Payroll Coordinator I – Consumer Direct Care Network (Remote)

Process biweekly payroll, audits, garnishments, direct deposits, and employee payments for Consumer Direct Care Network. Support home- and community-based care operations across 14 states in a remote U.S. role.

Description

  • Handle biweekly payroll for hourly employees working across multiple states
  • Review payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and correct identified errors
  • Confirm time entries, compensation rates, and benefit deductions
  • Calculate garnishments manually and record them in payroll systems
  • Deliver accurate, on-time employee payments while timely loading bank files and completing error-free payroll audits
  • Review direct-deposit change notifications for accuracy
  • Maintain direct-deposit records and provide pay cards when requested
  • Work with local offices on employment verification, pay concerns, and related payroll matters
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Zero to one year of prior payroll experience
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Successful completion of a background screening
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Follow applicable laws, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Reliable ability to work independently
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Comfortable and efficient with computers
  • Maintain the knowledge and skills needed to coordinate workflow
