National Account Manager - Pennsylvania (Remote)

Drive customer acquisition and account growth for Clean Earth’s environmental waste services. Manage national and regional manufacturing and industrial accounts across U.S. territories.

Description

  • Grow business across assigned territories
  • Meet sales targets by winning new customers, developing existing accounts, and expanding product lines
  • Identify and pursue regional accounts and prospects in partnership with the Director of National Accounts
  • Retain current customers and win new business through calls, sales meetings, and presentations
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposals through contracts, price increases, cancellations, and renewals
  • Strengthen customer relationships and increase revenue and profit through service changes and price adjustments
  • Explain regulatory compliance matters to customers
  • Execute sales strategies designed to increase revenue and profitability
  • Resolve issues and coordinate customer requirements with Field Operations and Customer Service
  • Coordinate with customers and Accounts Payable on receivables collection
  • Organize regional and national account sales activities
  • Present the company’s value proposition and Clean Earth services
  • Prepare presentations for priority customers and prospects
  • Create and implement territory, account-selling, and account-specific strategies
  • Complete routing plans, forecasts, and customer business reviews
  • Develop national and regional opportunities among manufacturing and industrial customers
  • Provide management with data for assessing regional and national opportunities
  • Participate in professional organizations to strengthen customer brand loyalty
  • Make daily prospecting calls and source leads through websites, networking, vendors, and peers
  • Track and report sales performance using approved metrics
  • Manage an existing book of business while expanding the territory through new prospects
  • Complete other related duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, management, or a related field
  • At least three years of demonstrated success selling outsourced services to the retail or related industries
  • Preferred knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and DEA regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience managing multiple accounts or equivalent related work experience
  • Established relationships, or the ability to quickly build relationships, with C-level, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing stakeholders in the retail industry
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii
  • Occasional ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to regularly access and operate standard office equipment
