Field Service Technician - Missouri Remote

Install, maintain, and repair retail self-checkout and other electromechanical equipment across an assigned Missouri territory for NCR Voyix. The role provides customer support, issue triage, troubleshooting, and formal virtual and hands-on training.

Description

  • Handle customer installations, maintenance tasks, and service calls promptly and effectively
  • Maintain electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, throughout an assigned territory
  • Complete maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
  • Serve as customers’ first point of response for service needs
  • Communicate with customers in a helpful, open, and engaging way
  • Organize and prioritize reported customer issues
  • Identify and resolve problems proactively
  • Complete structured virtual and hands-on training
  • Collaborate with service operations instructors, mentors, and coaches across territories

Requirements

  • Live within the designated geographic service area
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and meet NCR fleet driving-record standards
  • Have PC and basic electronics skills, plus familiarity with relevant hardware and operating systems
  • Be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Be available for extended travel, including driving several hours per day
  • Be available for rotating and weekend shifts
  • Accept flexible morning, afternoon, and evening start times, including some holidays
  • Be able to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance
  • Be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with your hands, and repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects
  • Be willing to receive training and operate small-scale scissor lifts
  • Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred
  • A+ certification, CompTIA certification, or N+ certification is preferred
  • At least one year of related experience is preferred
  • Successfully complete applicable employment screening requirements
