Description

  • Leads Lean Six Sigma projects that increase efficiency, lower costs, and improve quality.
  • Works with organizational leaders to rank initiatives by business value and risk.
  • Creates control plans and daily management systems that sustain gains and limit performance decline.
  • Analyzes data to uncover trends, bottlenecks, defects, variation, and waste, then recommends corrective action.
  • Defines key metrics for monitoring process outputs and evaluates results before and after improvements.
  • Partners with Finance to calculate improvement-related financial impact and confirm realized benefits.
  • Guides teams in Lean methods and structured problem-solving practices.
  • Promotes innovation, employee engagement, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Coordinates improvement objectives across teams, surfaces duplication, and manages initiatives involving shared stakeholders.
  • Visits work areas to observe processes and understand how staff interact with them.
  • Works with Technical Authors to keep process documentation aligned with the operating environment, design, and workflow.
  • Conducts post-implementation reviews, documents lessons learned, and updates control plans as needed.
  • Develops and presents project updates and outcomes for varied audiences.
  • Administers Smartsheet for the National BPI Manager, including configuration, access, permissions, troubleshooting, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Completes additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, a technical discipline, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of performance improvement, statistical methods, and CGMP systems and applications is required.
  • A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from a recognized certifying body is required, or must be completed within 12 months.
  • At least five years of related professional experience is required.
  • Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma or other process-improvement programs and managing projects is required.
  • Working knowledge of statistical methods and other structured problem-solving tools is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, blood banking, or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in quantitative analysis, process analysis, and process design or redesign.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and statistical tools such as Minitab or SigmaXL.
  • Able to protect confidential information.
  • Must have the capabilities needed to perform all assigned responsibilities successfully.
  • Must complete assigned work in accordance with internal SOPs and applicable external regulations.
  • Must provide high-quality service to all customers.
