Business Development Manager – Jacuzzi Group, Remote United States

Jacuzzi Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its hot tub and spa dealer network across the United States and Canada. The role covers dealer acquisition, pipeline management, onboarding, and market growth.

Description

  • Lead dealer and sales development in priority markets for the North America Spa Division across the United States and Canada.
  • Find and pursue new dealer and distribution opportunities in designated markets.
  • Contribute to North American business development programs and expansion initiatives.
  • Analyze markets to uncover growth opportunities and assess prospective dealer partnerships.
  • Own assigned new-dealer sales cycles from initial prospecting through contract close.
  • Create and present sales proposals to prospective dealers alongside regional sales managers and directors.
  • Manage pipeline activity, opportunity tracking, and forecast accuracy using Salesforce.com and B2B marketing tools.
  • Work across Sales, Marketing, and Product to advance business development objectives.
  • Share competitive intelligence and market insights that inform product positioning and go-to-market plans.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors and Sales Managers to promote forecast accountability and mentorship.
  • Help onboard dealers and support successful market launches.
  • Guide early-stage dealer development to support sustained performance and growth.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Report to the Director of Business Development while collaborating with regional sales teams.

Requirements

  • Five to ten years of progressive experience in field sales, business development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline reporting; Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales and dealer network development, with a record of generating and closing new business.
  • Ability to assess opportunities and determine return on investment for growth initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with reliable follow-through.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, high-growth, or global manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Experience with dealer or distribution networks is preferred.
  • Practical experience using Salesforce.com and B2B marketing tools is preferred.
  • Retail industry knowledge and strong negotiation skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office with high-speed internet of at least 500 Mbps.
  • Ability to travel seasonally up to 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on weekends based on geography and location.
  • Ability to stand, reach, and use a computer and phone for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
