Analytics Engineer - Brazil Remote

Build dependable, governed data models for Quartile’s AI-powered retail media optimization platform. Support e-commerce analytics, data quality, governance, and informed business decisions.

Description

  • Analyze business and data needs for internal initiatives and client-driven requests.
  • Investigate data issues and bugs, determine root causes, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
  • Identify data-quality issues, inconsistencies, and emerging risks across models and services.
  • Maintain data accuracy, reliability, and service quality through ongoing validation and monitoring.
  • Keep documentation for data models, business rules, metrics, processes, and services accurate and current.
  • Check business rules, KPIs, and transformations against requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Support data governance and standardization through consistent definitions, structures, naming, and quality standards.
  • Work with the Data Modeling & Governance Team and cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, joins, and validation techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, data structures, and data-quality principles.
  • Experience using Claude or comparable AI tools for data analysis, SQL development, documentation, and daily workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Excel formulas, analysis features, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Basic familiarity with Databricks notebooks, tables, catalogs, and SQL query execution.
  • Strong problem-solving ability for investigating data issues, finding root causes, and developing effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for assessing data, spotting inconsistencies, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
  • High attention to detail when checking data accuracy, consistency, and validation results.
  • Experience with e-commerce data and metrics including Sales, Revenue, Orders, Conversion Rate, ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, CPC, and related commerce or advertising KPIs.
  • Experience working with data from platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Google Ads, Meta, or comparable e-commerce and advertising services.
  • Familiarity with data governance, quality monitoring, documentation, and standardization practices.
  • Experience handling large, complex datasets.
  • Experience collaborating with Analytics, Engineering, Product, or other cross-functional teams.
