Accounts Payable Analyst — Poland Remote

Manage invoices, reconciliations, vendor data, and month-end close activities for Oyster’s global employment platform. Help improve NetSuite workflows across distributed finance operations.

Description

  • Resolve accounts payable discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
  • Support the invoice-processing BPO by ensuring NetSuite invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Apply internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements to AP activities.
  • Manage AP mailboxes and communication channels with clear documentation and tracking.
  • Process vendor invoices in NetSuite.
  • Reconcile AP accounts and investigate exceptions.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and Accounting to support accurate, timely payments.
  • Complete accounts payable activities for the month-end close.
  • Keep vendor master data accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Support cross-functional AP improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Maintain AP documentation and training materials.
  • Develop effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional accounts payable accounting experience, including financial processing and reconciliation.
  • Advanced experience with enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working in high-growth, high-volume, globally distributed AP environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience improving AP processes and introducing technology innovations.
  • A detail-oriented, structured, and systematic approach to work.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A reliable home internet connection.
  • Authorization to work in your country of residence.
  • Formal accounting education or a related qualification is preferred.
  • Payroll-processing experience is preferred.
  • Advanced NetSuite experience is preferred.
