Entry-Level Spanish-English Bilingual Medical Receptionist – North Miami Beach
Provide front-desk and patient registration support at Hanger’s orthotic and prosthetic clinic, including check-in, payments, scheduling, and electronic records.

- Greet patients at the clinic’s reception desk
- Communicate expected wait times and service delays
- Check in patients and verify demographic and insurance details
- Register walk-in patients at the reception desk
- Collect deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and other patient balances
- Schedule follow-up, cast-and-measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plan appointments at checkout
- Guide patients to Hanger clinic services, experience programs, support groups, and other resources
- Help the RCM team obtain missing or additional patient information when needed
- Keep electronic healthcare records complete and accurate
आवश्यकताएँ
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Less than one year of customer service, administrative, or related experience
- Receptionist experience or familiarity with medical front-office procedures preferred
- Valid driver’s license, or eligibility to obtain one, with a driving record meeting Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
- Strong interpersonal, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills
- Accurate keyboarding speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Ability to work with individuals who have disabilities
- Familiarity with the Alpha filing system
- Knowledge of medical reimbursement, medical terminology, and front-office receptionist duties preferred
- Proficiency with computers, Windows-based software, and email
- Ability to operate required office equipment, including fax machines, calculators, postage machines, and copiers
- At least a good fit on Hanger’s Talent Sorter assessment preferred; the assessment is part of the selection process
