Field HVAC Technical Support Specialist

Provide on-site and remote technical support for commercial HVAC equipment and controls. Commission, troubleshoot, service, and assess systems while supporting customers, channel partners, and technical sales opportunities.

Tavsif

  • Travel to customer and project sites to start up, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment and related controls
  • Provide remote technical support when appropriate
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, controls, and application issues using wiring diagrams, operating sequences, and diagnostic instruments
  • Apply safe, practical corrective actions
  • Conduct site assessments and support complex applications, warranty evaluations, field investigations, and root-cause analyses
  • Record findings, measurements, photographs, and corrective actions
  • Prepare service reports and communicate site status, risks, and follow-up needs to customers and internal teams
  • Coordinate tools, replacement parts, site access, and travel; maintain service equipment and follow safety, PPE, and lockout requirements
  • Develop opportunities with manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, engineers, contractors, OEMs, and end users
  • Review plans, specifications, and project requirements; support product selections, quotations, proposals, and technical submittals
  • Turn field conditions into practical recommendations and explain the technical and commercial value of proposed solutions
  • Work with regional sales managers and channel partners on opportunities from discovery through quotation, order, and implementation
  • Build customer relationships that encourage repeat business, referrals, and awareness of future projects
  • Lead customer meetings, product demonstrations, job-site reviews, technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and training
  • Record customer activity, opportunities, quotations, and service findings in company systems
  • Share field performance, customer needs, and competitive insights with engineering, product, quality, marketing, applications, and service teams
  • Represent Neptronic at trade shows, industry events, and customer functions as required

Talablar

  • At least three years of relevant experience in commercial or industrial HVAC field service, commissioning, applications, estimating, technical sales, or a combination of these areas
  • Practical knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, controls, wiring diagrams, technical documents, and common project delivery channels
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment, interpret plans and specifications, develop clear technical recommendations, and support quotations
  • Customer-focused communication, sound judgment, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with humidification, electric heating, air-handling equipment, dehumidification, heat-transfer products, and/or HVAC controls preferred
  • Experience supporting representatives and contractors, conducting customer training, and developing relationships with consulting engineers, distributors, or OEMs preferred
  • Field service and applications, estimating, or consultative sales experience preferred
  • Comfort using diagnostic tools, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and CRM, quotation, service reporting, or equipment-selection systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with the ability to meet applicable cross-border entry requirements
  • Ability to work safely at active customer sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and construction sites
  • Ability to perform physical field-service activities, including carrying tools, using ladders, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
