Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Disney Commerce
Lead the design, training, deployment, and operation of scalable machine learning models and pipelines for Disney Commerce. Drive technical delivery, MLOps practices, and end-to-end model-serving workflows.
Opis
- Design, develop, train, and deploy moderately to highly complex machine learning models, pipelines, and systems
- Own the development of production machine learning models, pipelines, and systems
- Advance ML component development through individual contributions and collaboration with other engineers
- Create technical solutions that satisfy specifications and guide future machine learning initiatives
- Deliver assigned ML projects and significant model enhancements using existing or emerging technologies
- Define specifications for assigned ML components, projects, and model improvements
- Write and review code for model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines
- Help shape the architecture of machine learning platforms and data infrastructure
- Develop and lead complete ML workflows spanning data ingestion through model serving
- Coordinate deliverables with data science, data engineering, and product teams across the organization
- Act as a senior technical resource and advisor to less experienced ML engineers and data scientists
- Guide team members through problem analysis, model debugging, and issue resolution
Zahteve
- At least five years of relevant experience designing, training, and deploying production machine learning models at scale
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Strong command of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering
- Extensive experience with MLOps practices such as model versioning, experiment tracking, ML CI/CD, and model monitoring
- Experience with cloud machine learning services and infrastructure, including AWS SageMaker, EC2, and S3
- Experience using data pipeline and orchestration technologies such as Airflow, Spark, and Kafka
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, Redshift, NoSQL, and related data storage technologies
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization
- Familiarity with data manipulation tools
- Snowflake experience is required
- Experience with large-scale recommendation systems, personalization, natural language processing, or computer vision
- Experience designing real-time machine learning inference and low-latency serving architectures
- Familiarity with deploying large language models and generative AI in production systems
- Java experience, including Spring Boot, is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
