Opis

  • Take over the emrgen.ai codebase, cloud environment, and AI systems from the external vendor.
  • Complete the handover with thorough documentation, secure access, and shared ownership that avoids a single point of failure.
  • Review the architecture, security, data practices, and model behavior.
  • Write a roadmap identifying what to retain, repair, or rebuild.
  • Own the documentation workflow from clinician input through a structured note reviewed and signed by a clinician.
  • Evaluate AI quality and track accuracy, unsupported content, and how often clinicians edit outputs.
  • Add safeguards against unsupported clinical claims and require clinician approval before notes enter the record.
  • Apply access controls, audit logging, and policies for data shared with external model providers.
  • Integrate emrgen.ai with iCareManager and state Medicaid billing rules to support billable services through documentation.
  • Set up release processes, monitoring, and on-call coverage.
  • Coach engineers on the Pakistan team and contribute to hiring.
  • Collaborate directly with the Chief Product Officer and engineering team in Pakistan.

Zahteve

  • At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership.
  • At least 3 years delivering AI features to production.
  • Built or substantially contributed to an EHR or EMR for U.S. healthcare customers while based in Pakistan; be prepared to describe the system and your contribution.
  • Practical experience with large language models, including prompt design, retrieval, evaluation, and managing cost and latency.
  • Speech-to-text experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience taking over a system built by others and making it maintainable.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, audit trails, and handling protected health information in AI pipelines.
  • Understanding of clinical documentation workflows and the factors that build clinician trust.
  • Strong written English for customer-facing documentation.
  • Availability to overlap with U.S. working hours.
  • Preferred: experience in IDD, behavioral health, or Medicaid billing.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HL7 or FHIR.
  • Preferred: experience supporting a SOC 2 audit.
  • Preferred: machine learning operations experience, such as model versioning and monitoring.
  • Employment offers require a background check, HIPAA training, and a signed confidentiality agreement.
