Principal Fellow, Data Engineering at Parexel — India Remote
Lead Parexel’s enterprise data architecture strategy and modernize clinical research platforms with scalable, cloud-native systems. Drive data governance, AI innovation, and enterprise analytics to support faster clinical trials.
Descriere
- Shape and execute the enterprise data platform strategy and architecture roadmap
- Modernize legacy environments into scalable, cloud-native solutions
- Design secure, high-performance data platforms aligned with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and enterprise security requirements
- Advance Lakehouse architecture, unified data catalogs, SQL analytics, and AI/ML frameworks
- Implement governance practices covering data lineage, quality standards, and role-based access controls
- Lead generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI implementations
- Develop enterprise AI architectures using large language models, vector databases, AI agents, and model governance
- Establish DataOps, DevOps, and MLOps practices with reusable architecture patterns and CI/CD pipelines
- Advise executive leaders on architecture roadmaps, business cases, and transformation strategies
- Mentor architects, engineering managers, and technical leads
- Build and expand a Center of Excellence for data, analytics, and AI technologies
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and technology evaluations
- Advance data platform modernization and AI innovation across clinical research operations and business intelligence
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 12 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, cloud platform design, or related technical leadership
- Track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms, warehouses, or lakes
- Strong command of AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern data technologies
- Experience with governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance in healthcare or other regulated industries
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, shape organizational strategy, and drive technology adoption
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Background in healthcare, life sciences, regulated environments, or large enterprise settings
- Comfort with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and emerging AI/ML technologies
- Patient-centered perspective and commitment to applying technology to clinical research and patient outcomes
