Part-Time Communication Center Representative

Apraksts

  • Coordinate paging, messaging, scheduling, and appointment services for UW Health.
  • Assist UW Health staff, physicians, and patients with their service needs.
  • Confirm or cancel appointments for designated clinics on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Manage calls such as connecting callers to inpatient rooms, alerting on-call physicians to organ offers, and carrying out emergency plans.
  • Operate computer workstations, call center telephone systems, and specialized software for call handling, message taking, appointment scheduling, and radio paging.

Prasības

  • An associate degree in healthcare, information technology, business, or a related field is required; two years of relevant work experience may be considered instead.
  • Experience in a large automated call center and familiarity with at least one call-processing software platform are preferred.
  • One year of experience in a medical, call center, or customer service setting is preferred.
  • Available to work three second-shift days per week, 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
  • Available to work every third weekend.
  • Able to work onsite at least one or two times per week at 610 N Whitney Way, Madison, Wisconsin; onsite needs may change based on coverage and operations.
