Analyze fraud operations data at American Express by producing MIS reports, monitoring performance trends, and delivering actionable insights. Build scalable dashboards and support operational and leadership decisions across global customer-care and fraud teams.

  • Create accurate, timely MIS and analytical reports for Fraud Operations to inform operational and leadership decisions
  • Monitor fraud metrics, trends, and performance indicators while investigating unusual activity and emerging concerns
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze large datasets to produce actionable business insights
  • Build and improve automated and self-service MIS and reporting solutions
  • Work with Fraud Operations and support teams to clarify business needs, close information gaps, and define relevant performance indicators
  • Own the development, validation, implementation, and continued improvement of reporting and analytics projects
  • Prepare executive reporting with clear visualizations and effective insight presentations
  • Contribute to global initiatives that assess processes and identify reporting, process, and system improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, markets, and time zones

Prasības

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative discipline
  • Ideally 4 or more years of experience, including at least 2 years in quantitative business analysis, MIS, analytics, or data science using large datasets
  • Strong quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data visualization skills
  • Proficiency in Hive, Python, SQL, and Tableau, along with a solid understanding of big data ecosystems
  • Experience with Tableau, QlikView, or comparable business intelligence and visualization platforms is advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with working knowledge of Word, Access, and Project
  • Ability to convert business information needs into scalable MIS, reporting, and analytical solutions
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities independently and meet demanding deadlines
  • Successful completion of a background verification check
