Senior Manager, Business Operations Strategy (Canada Remote)
Lead transformation, growth, and profitability initiatives for Valsoft, a software investment firm operating more than 150 businesses. Partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable improvements in business performance.

- Own transformation plans, performance indicators, and improvement priorities for an assigned mandate or operating area
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across revenue, pricing, customer retention, costs, service delivery, processes, and systems
- Develop a strong understanding of the business, customers, financial performance, and competitive landscape
- Convert strategic priorities into defined actions, accountabilities, and measurable results
- Lead transformation initiatives from initial diagnosis through implementation
- Coordinate stakeholders, support adoption, and assess operational and financial impact
- Partner with the Managing Director and senior leadership team on business planning, performance reviews, and significant decisions
- Support teams affected by change while strengthening ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Work with leaders across the portfolio to exchange best practices and advance business improvement initiatives
- May progress to a Managing Director role within 12 to 24 months, depending on readiness and available opportunities

- Demonstrated success delivering measurable results
- Strong commercial and financial judgment
- Leadership experience through direct people management or ownership of a significant initiative
- Ability to diagnose problems, set priorities, turn strategy into practical action, and lead cross-functional change through adoption and measurable impact
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams and organizational levels
- Sound decision-making, humility, and a willingness to seek feedback and learn quickly
- Strong sense of ownership, commercial curiosity, and ambition to build and lead a business
- Experience in software, SaaS, technology, financial analysis, acquisitions, integration, or operational improvement is valued but not required
- May be a recent MBA graduate with substantial pre-MBA professional experience, or an established leader who has led a team, function, product, region, or major business initiative
