Description

  • Work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to enhance the flagship Console product and deliver new features
  • Own strategic frontend architecture and technical decisions
  • Identify and recommend improvements that support product growth and engineering productivity
  • Break down ambiguous problems methodically and create maintainable, high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing on frontend initiatives
  • Develop frontend experiences for product demos, open-source projects, marketing content, and related initiatives
  • Contribute to RFCs, design documents, and technical documentation that explain decisions and solutions
  • Help define and uphold engineering practices and standards for scalable, long-term product development
  • Surface technical and product challenges, then work with relevant teams to prioritize and resolve them
  • Strengthen the engineering culture as the company grows
  • Help deliver frontend solutions that provide high-quality experiences for customers and users

Requirements

  • Advanced experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and contemporary frontend development
  • Background designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, high-quality frontend solutions
  • Methodical problem-solving skills for analyzing and decomposing complex engineering challenges
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous work and independently select suitable solutions
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts and decisions
  • Experience contributing to RFCs, design documents, technical documentation, or comparable materials
  • Ability to structure and present technical information for audiences with different levels of technical expertise
  • Strong initiative, including the ability to recognize problems and opportunities without detailed direction
  • Understanding of the broader business context behind technical and product challenges, with the ability to support prioritization
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and approaches
  • Evidence of using engineering and communication skills to produce positive outcomes for teams, businesses, and users
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional groups
  • Experience in a role involving substantial technical ownership and autonomy
