Remote Content Specialist at Guild Mortgage

Guild Mortgage is seeking a remote Content Specialist to create accessible sales training content for retail sales teams. The role covers job aids, e-learning, SharePoint resources, and multimedia materials.

Description

  • Create and maintain engaging, informative, on-brand training content for retail sales teams
  • Develop new-hire materials, knowledge articles, SharePoint resources, and internal communications
  • Review and update training content for campaigns, system enhancements, sales strategies, best practices, and regulatory changes
  • Publish training materials through the LMS, SharePoint, and other suitable channels to support accessibility
  • Partner with internal communications specialists on announcements, job aids, images, and knowledge articles
  • Work with training and marketing subject matter experts to define content needs and verify message accuracy
  • Perform recurring content reviews and quality checks for accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness
  • Collect feedback from trainers and colleagues and incorporate improvements into training materials and programs
  • Support the Regional Sales Training Team, Salesforce Consultants, and Elevate Coaching Program
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Reverse Mortgage, and Joint Venture teams
  • Work independently under general direction and provide guidance or mentorship to less experienced professional contributors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required
  • At least three years of experience processing mortgage foreclosure documents and associated timelines
  • At least two years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • At least three years of experience in content creation or training and education
  • Demonstrated content development and instructional design experience, preferably in mortgage or financial services
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual design abilities
  • Video editing experience and knowledge of ADA standards are preferred
  • Proficiency with content authoring tools, learning management systems, and multimedia software
  • Required proficiency with data entry, PDF software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Required proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud applications, and third-party software
  • Ability to learn new tasks, retain processes, stay focused, work independently, and make timely decisions
  • Ability to follow established process protocols and apply them promptly
  • Ability to work primarily Monday through Friday during the business week
  • Ability to travel 20% to 50%
  • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work involving frequent computer keyboard and mouse use
  • Ability to accurately interpret audio and visual information in an office setting
