Operations Coordinator - New Zealand Onsite

Coordinate international import and export shipments for Toll Group’s bulk-liquid logistics operations. Manage carriers, documentation, customer communications, and shipment performance across Auckland or Christchurch.

Description

  • Manage international import and export shipments in CargoWise
  • Coordinate freight movements with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and co-loaders
  • Keep customers proactively informed while delivering responsive service
  • Address operational issues and assist customers with shipment enquiries
  • Prepare shipping documents, reports, cargo declarations, and invoices
  • Track shipment performance against service standards and customer KPIs
  • Keep customer and shipment information accurate and up to date
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives that strengthen the customer experience
  • Collaborate with customers, carriers, airlines, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in freight forwarding operations
  • Sound knowledge of international import and export procedures
  • Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Hands-on CargoWise experience is essential
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise competing workloads and resolve issues proactively
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach
  • Experience with flexitank and ISOtank operations
  • Familiarity with both air and sea freight
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Willing to complete pre-employment screening, including criminal history and medical checks
