- Review and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests according to company policies.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and payment vouchers to confirm accurate and complete transactions.
- Keep accounts payable records and supporting documentation organized and current.
- Help reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable tasks during month-end and year-end close.
- Respond professionally to payment questions from vendors and internal teams.
- Perform data entry and help maintain the accounts payable system.
- Support process improvements and adherence to company financial controls.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and accounts payable procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Accounting or finance internship or work experience is helpful but not required.
