Description

  • Lead and develop engineers through coaching, feedback, mentorship, career planning, and growth opportunities.
  • Deliver secure, scalable, reliable technology aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Turn business, technical, and regulatory requirements into engineering roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Direct complex cross-functional programs across technology teams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Work with business leaders, architects, technical leads, and subject matter experts to assess solutions and guide technology decisions.
  • Coordinate workstreams while managing risks, dependencies, priorities, and resources.
  • Define and improve engineering standards, implementation practices, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Advance team effectiveness, quality, reliability, and delivery through continuous improvement.
  • Report progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior business and technology leaders.
  • Build an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
  • Support organizational and technology transformation initiatives while helping teams adapt to change.

Requirements

  • Experience leading software engineering teams, with responsibility for people leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Background delivering complex technology initiatives across multiple teams, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Ability to convert strategic business priorities into engineering roadmaps, delivery plans, and measurable results.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile principles, modern software delivery, and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing priorities, risks, dependencies, and competing demands across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts, trade-offs, and delivery status clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices spanning cloud technologies, APIs, application development, CI/CD, system reliability, and security.
  • Experience guiding teams through organizational, process, or technology change.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and inclusive team environments.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience with every listed technology is not required; comparable enterprise technology experience is welcomed.
