Description

  • Define the Neuroscience AI strategy, portfolio, roadmap, and value measures.
  • Develop and deploy scalable agentic and generative AI solutions for priority scientific needs.
  • Lead delivery, investment decisions, and results across the Neuroscience AI portfolio.
  • Protect scientific rigor, appropriate evidence use, and accurate representation of domain knowledge.
  • Set evaluation standards, expert review processes, and responsible AI practices.
  • Guide shared platform development and reusable solutions that fit enterprise architecture.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and uphold strong engineering and lifecycle practices.
  • Work with scientists and leaders to prioritize needs, validate solutions, and encourage adoption.
  • Explain technical decisions, risks, progress, and impact to senior stakeholders.
  • Turn priority research needs into scalable AI tools for Neuroscience R&D.
  • Apply AI across clinical, omics, molecular, and medical imaging data.

Requirements

  • PhD in computer science, computational biology, genetics, genomics, medical informatics, or a related quantitative discipline; alternatively, a master’s degree with additional relevant experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare analytics, including setting technical direction.
  • Recent hands-on experience, within the past 18 months, building agentic systems and deploying AI, NLP, or generative AI solutions using LLMs, retrieval, grounding, and evaluation.
  • Ability to critically assess scientific evidence.
  • Strong Python proficiency and sound software engineering practices.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical delivery and influencing across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to set priorities, make evidence-based tradeoffs, and deliver measurable value.
  • Strong communication skills with technical, scientific, and senior non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience developing within shared platforms, architecture standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with genetics, multi-omics, imaging, ontologies, or scientific knowledge systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to regulated environments, AI governance, and human-in-the-loop systems is preferred.
  • Industry experience in drug discovery, clinical development, or neuroscience is optional.
  • Travel may be required as needed.
