Consulting Analyst, Federal Real Estate Projects — Washington, DC

Support landowner outreach and project coordination for federal real estate acquisition initiatives in Washington, DC. Manage communications, tracking, reporting, stakeholder requests, and issue resolution across infrastructure projects.

Description

  • Create, coordinate, and distribute outreach communications, mailings, notices, and related materials
  • Coordinate outreach efforts among government client teams
  • Facilitate information exchange, track requests and action items, resolve outstanding needs, and help deliver project activities and milestones on schedule
  • Coordinate requests across project teams and check submissions for completeness
  • Monitor requests through completion and retain related documentation
  • Create, maintain, and improve standardized workflows, trackers, procedures, and guidance for real estate coordination
  • Maintain project tracking tools, schedules, and records covering landowner outreach, communications, responses, milestones, deadlines, contacts, decisions, and action items
  • Review project activity for potential issues, gaps, dependencies, or delays
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and follow outstanding actions through closure
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc leadership reports covering outreach, milestones, open actions, emerging issues, and overall progress
  • Handle additional outreach, project coordination, process management, and related duties as assigned
  • Work at federal client sites and potentially rotate between two downtown client locations

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in real estate coordination, landowner outreach, project coordination, program support, communications, or a related area
  • Experience supporting federal government, infrastructure, real estate, or land acquisition projects is preferred
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams and accurately maintaining workflows, trackers, schedules, communication logs, action items, and supporting records
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience creating outreach materials, correspondence, procedures, guidance, status reports, and other communications for varied stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, anticipate issues or delays, and coordinate actions through resolution
  • Experience creating, documenting, and improving processes and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with SharePoint or other project tracking and collaboration platforms is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and retain any required federal suitability determination, public trust, or security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Availability to work onsite at federal client locations in Washington, DC
  • Reliable internet service and a phone are required
