Description

  • Support beneficiaries and healthcare professionals throughout the care journey
  • Handle inquiries mainly by phone and email
  • Explain policy coverage, reimbursement rules, and administrative procedures
  • Register new contracts and process terminations
  • Track premium collection activities
  • Administer health benefits by recording claims, preparing estimates, and issuing coverage approvals
  • Maintain and update beneficiary information
  • Escalate fraud alerts or suspected fraudulent activity to the supervisor or fraud officer
  • Handle written correspondence, calls, and day-to-day beneficiary interactions
  • Maintain accurate data entry and processing in line with established procedures
  • Review and calculate benefit entitlements
  • Initiate and manage premium collection notices
  • Meet defined processing deadlines
  • Focus exclusively on service and administration, with no prospecting or sales duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, such as three years of higher education
  • Insurance experience is not required
  • Fluent spoken English and professional written English and French
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong listening ability and a customer-focused approach
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Methodical, organized, detail-oriented, and responsive working style
  • Commitment to meeting quality, volume, and turnaround-time targets
