Account Implementation Manager, Voluntary Benefits — ManhattanLife (Remote)

ManhattanLife is hiring a remote Account Implementation Manager to deliver voluntary benefits implementations for employer groups. The role oversees enrollment, billing, claims, re-enrollment, audits, and coordination across sales and operational teams.

Description

  • Implement voluntary benefits programs for new employer groups from initial setup through completion
  • Oversee essential deliverables and milestones for new employer accounts
  • Manage re-enrollment processes for existing employer groups
  • Provide ongoing account support across enrollment, billing, and claims
  • Coordinate implementation activities and system changes with operational departments
  • Serve as the connection between Sales and Marketing and operational teams
  • Conduct audits and guide operations teams in correcting discrepancies
  • Handle special projects and other assigned responsibilities
  • Set annual objectives focused on professional development
  • Monitor developments affecting the relevant business segment and industry
  • Adopt technologies that support professional and personal development
  • Take part in the performance evaluation process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with experience in account implementation or account servicing
  • Prior experience in account implementation or account servicing
  • Insurance industry experience is helpful but not required
  • Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, is helpful but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, confident client communication through WebEx, email, phone, or in-person meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple implementations at different stages while setting priorities
  • Sound independent judgment, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person broker or employer-group meetings
  • Ability to stand, walk, type, operate a mouse, reach, speak, and hear as required
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, pull, or move items over 10 pounds when handling office or desk supplies
