- Oversee efficient software delivery from requirements definition through production deployment
- Remove delivery impediments and resolve blockers
- Create motivated, collaborative, efficient, and empowered squads
- Deliver production-ready software across one or more products or solutions
- Manage approximately two squads of 5–9 people each
- Promote enterprise collaboration, dismantle silos, and address cross-organizational blockers
- Apply Scrum and Kanban practices as an Agile specialist
- Develop high-performing teams and provide hands-on support when needed
- Champion software development, architecture, test engineering, and security best practices
- Manage technical debt, obsolescence, security, and modernization throughout the product lifecycle
- Maintain effective Agile governance and ceremonies
- Coordinate product releases and lead Increment Planning sessions
- Guide teams building and maintaining AI-powered solutions
- Use established metrics to inform delivery decisions
- Manage the squad’s Continuous Improvement backlog to enhance time to market, efficiency, and quality
- Coach and support squads while encouraging ownership and mutual respect
- Potentially manage one or more squad leads directly

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- 10–12 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated delivery success in a regulated, complex, multi-product technology environment
- Broad technical knowledge across software architecture, testing, DevOps, generative AI, security, and operations
- Metrics-focused approach to evaluating delivery
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience integrating AI model development into applications
- Background managing and motivating distributed teams
- Experience across diverse technology functions, preferably with a development engineering background
- Well-rounded understanding of Agile methodologies
- PSM, CSP, SAFe, ICP-ACC, or comparable certification
- Experience with .NET, SQL stored procedures, Angular, MongoDB, and workflow automation
- Experience using ADO to manage work throughout its lifecycle
- Expertise in metrics-based work tracking and connecting delivery to business value
- Knowledge of superannuation and/or investments domains, including management of related products
- Strong project management, communication, and customer service abilities
- Payroll accounting knowledge is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global and remote teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time efficiently
