Product Engineer, Industrial Automation Support
Support Emerson’s predictive maintenance and industrial automation products by diagnosing technical issues, improving reliability, and helping customers and support teams worldwide.
Tavsif
- Help global customers and support teams troubleshoot Emerson AMS products in the Machinery Health Management portfolio.
- Investigate and reproduce software and hardware application issues remotely to speed resolution.
- Provide product expertise and input for future AMS product development.
- Create knowledge base articles and technical materials for field teams and global support.
- Train teams on newly released products.
- Share customer use cases and improvement needs with Marketing and Technology teams using data.
- Use knowledge of computer systems, networking, automation protocols, and communication tools.
- Build customer loyalty and work with key customers to understand their long-term needs.
Talablar
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, electrical, electronics, mechanical, instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
- Experience troubleshooting software and providing technical support.
- Knowledge of industrial network architectures and automation and telemetry communication protocols.
- Familiarity with networks, database applications, virtual machines, and web applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to resolve system issues in operational settings and adapt communication to different audiences.
- Condition monitoring or predictive maintenance experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of or hands-on experience with Machinery Health Management products such as AMS Machine Works, AMS Machinery Manager, AMS 6500 ATG, AMS 6500, AMS Asset Monitor, AMS Wireless Vibration Monitors, AMS 9420, or AMS 2140 is an advantage.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for in-person and virtual settings.
