Customer-Deployed AI Consultant, Red Hat (Tokyo)
Implement Red Hat AI solutions for enterprise customers in Tokyo. Identify business challenges, deploy AI agents, and measure their operational impact.
Tavsif
- Identify high-value business challenges within customer operations.
- Assess each challenge’s impact, dependencies, and costs to set priorities.
- Design AI initiatives that account for organizational change and risk.
- Build long-term roadmaps to embed AI solutions and deliver business results.
- Customize Red Hat products, develop AI agents, engineer prompts, build evaluation frameworks, integrate systems, and deploy solutions to production.
- Implement solutions, measure and analyze results using data, and refine them over time.
- Support enterprise deployments, including VPC setup, access controls, security, and compliance.
- Assist with monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
- Document customer feedback and share it with product teams for roadmap planning.
- Keep current with advances in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI development stacks.
- Travel to customer sites for in-person collaboration as needed, typically 20–50% of the role.
- Connect customers with Red Hat product and engineering teams.
Talablar
- At least four years of experience as a forward-deployed engineer or software engineer in a customer-facing or consulting role; founders of technology startups are also welcome.
- Ability to identify business-value opportunities and objectively structure and prioritize them based on costs and expected impact.
- Experience operating LLMs or AI products in production.
- Advanced prompt engineering, AI agent development, evaluation framework design, and experience deploying systems at scale.
- Strong Python skills and experience developing and releasing production applications; TypeScript or Java experience is a plus.
- Ability to define measurable, evidence-based outcomes, then assess results after implementation and tune initiatives accordingly.
- Ability to explain technical and business topics clearly to stakeholders ranging from frontline staff to executives.
- Ability to navigate complex organizations and ambiguity, take initiative, and move projects forward independently.
- Strong customer empathy and the integrity to drive cross-functional collaboration as a central team member.
- Enterprise domain expertise in areas such as finance, healthcare, government, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Knowledge of Red Hat AI, OpenShift, or other Red Hat products, and experience designing or tuning AI inference solutions, is a plus.
- Consulting or PMO experience involving organizational redesign, business process change, or risk analysis is a plus.
- Experience managing enterprise IT deployments in customer-owned cloud environments is a plus.
- Production experience with Go, GraphQL APIs, or LLM infrastructure is a plus.
- Professional services experience is a plus.
