Human Resources Director

Lead HR operations and employee experience, with responsibility for compliance, engagement, and talent programs. The role supports employees and teams across the organization’s Kentucky locations.

Opis

  • Oversee daily HR operations across employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, internal communications, and talent management.
  • Create an employee experience strategy that reflects organizational values, culture, and objectives.
  • Develop engagement programs to strengthen employee satisfaction, retention, and commitment.
  • Create employee-focused initiatives, programs, and policies.
  • Keep employee experience initiatives consistent with the organization’s brand and culture.
  • Build communication plans that explain HR programs and engage employees.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to advance HR initiatives and improve the employee experience.
  • Track industry trends, effective practices, and emerging employee experience and engagement technologies.
  • Shape HR policies and programs to support the Bank’s mission and respond to industry trends.
  • Provide HR guidance to employees at every level.
  • Recommend performance reviews, compensation changes, and promotions.
  • Support candidate selection and interviews, and recommend applicants based on their qualifications.
  • Guide employees on company policies, procedures, and documentation, and follow up as needed.
  • Coordinate and contribute to projects and activities, providing support as required.
  • Coach and advise employees and managers.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and track legislative changes.
  • Provide coverage for HR and training staff.

Zahteve

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s or other related graduate degree is preferred.
  • At least seven years of human resources management experience is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
  • Experience managing regulatory compliance, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other state or federal laws.
  • Requires leadership, customer service, communication, interpersonal, decision-making, teamwork, deadline management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Occasional travel to market locations is required.
  • Must be able to perform sedentary work.
