Payroll Analyst, Accounting — Notion Hybrid
Manage U.S. payroll operations for Notion, including Workday processing, compliance, reporting, reconciliations, and employee support in a hybrid role.
Descriere
- Process and reconcile biweekly, quarterly commission, and off-cycle U.S. payrolls in Workday
- Administer Workday Time Tracking for nonexempt hourly employees and ensure timely, accurate timecard submission and approval
- Process leave payments, fringe benefits, equity transactions, and 401(k)/Roth contributions through Fidelity
- Coordinate with ADP support on the accurate and timely processing of garnishments, taxes, and net pay
- Partner with People, Finance, and external payroll providers to enhance payroll workflows
- Act as the primary contact for U.S. payroll questions and support a positive employee experience
- Produce and evaluate payroll reports in Workday
- Reconcile U.S. payroll and prepare month-end payroll journal entries
- Support balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Provide operational support to the Senior Payroll Analyst
- Handle ad hoc projects and other assigned responsibilities
Cerințe
- At least four years of U.S. payroll processing experience in small or midsize organizations
- Thorough understanding of U.S. payroll compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax and labor regulations
- Strong experience with in-house payroll systems and the ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a high-growth environment
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
- Interest in applying AI tools thoughtfully to payroll processes
- Experience with Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance, or payroll vendor implementations is preferred
- Experience with NetSuite and preparing and reconciling payroll journal entries is preferred
- Experience with Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits modules is preferred
