Assembly and Test Technician

Assemble, test, and inspect TechnipFMC oilfield equipment at its Gelang Patah facility. Support junior assemblers and follow health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Descriere

  • Assemble, fit, adjust, and test moderately complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Guide and assist junior employees.
  • Build and test assemblies to TechnipFMC specifications.
  • Complete test records, including test reports, failed test reports, and non-conformance reports.
  • Address routine issues with familiar subassemblies and escalate complex problems.
  • Perform final factory inspections of oilfield equipment.
  • Prepare test procedures before and after factory acceptance testing.
  • Clean components after assembly in line with specifications and instructions.
  • Record labor details in the Labor Tracking System for cost tracking.
  • Move parts and subassemblies with material handling equipment.
  • Work safely, keep the work area orderly, and report hazards.
  • Help other assemblers and teach established techniques for key subassemblies.
  • Follow TechnipFMC, government, project, client, and contractor health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Cerințe

  • At least 3–4 years of relevant mechanical work experience.
  • Preferably an SPM, certificate, or higher qualification, or equivalent.
  • Sound general mathematics skills and the ability to write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use a personal computer or workstation.
  • Ability to operate high- and low-pressure pumps, hydrostatic pumps, high-torque wrenches, overhead and jib cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and measuring instruments such as height gauges, adjustable parallels, calipers, and pressure gauges.
