Government Business Development Manager (Remote - United States)

AlphaHire is seeking a government business development manager to originate agency relationships and consulting opportunities for AlphaGov. The role focuses on building public-sector partnerships and qualified pipelines that can lead to government contracts.

Descriere

  • Source and qualify government consulting opportunities that match AlphaGov’s services
  • Develop relationships with agency leaders, program managers, HR executives, and procurement teams
  • Track emerging needs through agency priorities, procurement forecasts, outreach, and industry events
  • Build teaming and subcontracting partnerships with government contractors and consulting firms
  • Contribute buyer insights, competitive intelligence, and positioning guidance to bid/no-bid and capture planning
  • Work with the proposal team on sources-sought notices, requests for information, and competitive solicitations
  • Keep opportunity records, projected procurement timelines, and follow-up actions current
  • Comply with applicable procurement communication requirements and AlphaGov’s opportunity approval process
  • Build relationships and qualified pursuits that generate business

Cerințe

  • Three or more years of business development experience selling services to federal, state, or local government agencies
  • Proven success originating opportunities, forming productive teaming relationships, or contributing to government contract wins
  • Practical understanding of public procurement, competitive solicitations, and government sales cycles
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and opportunity-qualification abilities
  • Able to explain your contribution to prior pursuits and the outcomes achieved
  • Capable of independently building a pipeline and sustaining progress through lengthy procurement cycles
  • Experience in either federal contracting or state and local government is acceptable
  • Preferred: experience selling consulting, workforce services, research, analytics, organizational improvement, or program evaluation
  • Preferred: established buyer relationships in AlphaGov’s service areas
  • Preferred: experience with capture management for competitive government opportunities
  • Preferred: experience developing prime contractor and subcontractor partnerships
