AI Stack Development Lead (Hybrid)

Lead the design and governance of a Microsoft Fabric-based AI ecosystem for a global chemical manufacturer. Guide platform integrations, responsible AI, cost controls, model strategy, and a team of AI and machine learning engineers.

Descriere

  • Lead the Microsoft Fabric AI architecture and technical roadmap, integrating Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI
  • Assess and connect data science and MLOps platforms including Dataiku, Azure Machine Learning, and Databricks
  • Establish AI data governance across cataloguing, lineage, quality, and master data using platforms such as Collibra or Informatica
  • Set development practices and responsible AI controls across the complete lifecycle of models and agents
  • Direct model evaluation and rationalisation based on capability, response time, and cost across LLMs and SLMs
  • Implement token usage and AI cost governance through budgets, reporting dashboards, chargeback, and optimisation
  • Define governance and operating standards for Microsoft Copilot Studio agents alongside Fabric and Azure agents
  • Architect integrations linking AI solutions with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, Cognite Data Fusion, and other OT/IT systems
  • Drive practical AI adoption through Microsoft 365 Copilot and low-code agent builders within established guardrails
  • Explain architecture choices, expenditure, and delivered value to executive stakeholders
  • Manage, coach, and develop a small engineering and developer team

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred
  • At least 12 years of experience in data and AI, including 5–8 years of hands-on work in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics
  • Experience delivering production AI and machine learning solutions in enterprise, industrial, or manufacturing settings
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, Synapse Data Science, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI
  • Experience with Dataiku, Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, or comparable platforms, plus Collibra or Informatica
  • Practical experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Demonstrated expertise in LLM cost controls, token observability, and model rationalisation, including AI FinOps
  • Experience connecting AI systems with SAP and industrial platforms such as Cognite
  • Working knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, or the EU AI Act
  • Knowledge of Semantic Kernel, LangChain/LangGraph, or MCP-based tool integration is highly desirable
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • At least 4–5 years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams
