Apraksts

  • Improve the patient experience by managing arrival and departure activities for practice and department visits
  • Secure required procedure pre-certifications and pre-authorizations
  • Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and patient demographic details
  • Handle EPIC check-in, check-out, and point-of-service processes
  • Schedule patient appointments in EPIC
  • Support efficient patient movement to examination rooms
  • Escalate patient or provider concerns when appropriate
  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors professionally in person and by phone
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson’s values
  • Complete other assigned duties as requested

Prasības

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to use EPIC for check-in, check-out, point-of-service transactions, and appointment scheduling
  • Experience verifying insurance and securing procedure pre-certifications or pre-authorizations preferred
  • Must follow HIPAA privacy and security requirements
  • Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
