Senior Lead Clinical Project Manager

Lead global clinical research studies at Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing delivery, teams, compliance, risk, and operational performance.

  • Oversee global clinical study management and project delivery.
  • Assess study progress, resource needs, and team workloads, then implement adjustments and mitigation plans.
  • Identify, assess, and reduce risks across assigned studies and programs.
  • Handle escalations and resolve operational, client, and project issues.
  • Help Clinical Project Managers communicate study status, risks, timelines, and deliverables to clients.
  • Coordinate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders across functions.
  • Organize and lead regular project status meetings.
  • Manage assigned studies from start-up through execution and closeout.
  • Guide study teams across therapeutic areas and programs.
  • Work with senior leaders to prioritize deliverables, address resource needs, and share critical project updates.
  • Improve operations through ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead departmental initiatives from planning through execution, communication, training, and progress reporting.
  • Lead therapeutic area or imaging operational readiness and implement new processes and procedures.
  • Track operational challenges and recommend ways to improve study delivery, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop project management team members.
  • Help onboard and train new team members.
  • Allocate team assignments and distribute workloads.
  • Set and uphold departmental standards, SOP compliance, and study management practices.
  • Review and revise project management and therapeutic team procedures.
  • Take on other duties, assignments, and special projects as needed.

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 5–10 years of clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related clinical development setting, including substantial project management responsibility.
  • Prior people management and leadership experience in clinical development, clinical operations, or clinical trial management.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, project management methods, and drug development practices.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, and FDA regulations.
  • Experience supporting global clinical studies and leading cross-functional teams across locations.
  • Medical imaging experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate effectively in English with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
