  • Deliver administrative support for organizational work groups
  • Provide administrative assistance to multiple managers with minimal supervision
  • Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related software to create correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, and meeting minutes
  • Compile information from multiple sources to prepare and maintain functional reports and records
  • Maintain required plant records
  • Screen and route incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email
  • Manage files and calendars
  • Coordinate business travel and meetings while tracking related expenses
  • Update plant design documents, drawings, and procedures in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Assist with additional administrative activities as needed
  • Travel to other sites for training or support and work overtime when required

  • High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of related experience
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments effectively
  • Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with managers, supervisors, employees, and other personnel across a department
  • Experience performing in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions
  • Experience using the Nuclear Learning Management System (NLMS)
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems such as Fusion or CastPro
  • Knowledge of work-hour rules addressing fatigue and degraded alertness that may affect plant, personnel, and public safety
  • Experience managing timekeeping for large departments, including project capital utilization
  • Experience coordinating dynamic learning scenarios or teaching and learning stations to improve workforce behaviors
  • Experience developing and managing qualification depth and breadth for multidisciplinary training programs
  • Experience initiating and managing emergency response organization duty rosters
  • Experience coordinating resources, in-processing, and nuclear badging for Duke and contract workers
  • Ability to coordinate mail deliveries and department office requests, including lifting office supplies
  • Ability to work lawfully in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future
