Senior Recruiter, Remote in the United States

Description

  • Clarify client hiring needs, role requirements, and search priorities.
  • Find and engage qualified candidates, including people who are not actively job hunting.
  • Screen candidates and assess them against the established criteria.
  • Share qualified candidates with clear summaries of their experience and suitability.
  • Arrange interviews, communicate with candidates, and manage follow-up.
  • Keep recruiting records accurate and provide timely updates on search progress.
  • Assist with reference checks, offer discussions, and placement coordination as needed.
  • Work with AlphaGov’s team to deliver an organized, responsive search process.
  • Recruit for executive, leadership, management, professional, and specialized roles.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruiting, executive search, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing.
  • Ability to source and engage candidates for professional, leadership, or specialized roles.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, job boards, and other sourcing tools.
  • Good judgment in handling confidential information about candidates and clients.
  • Recruiting experience with a search firm, staffing agency, in-house team, RPO provider, or independent practice.
  • Government recruiting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Preferred experience recruiting for local, state, or federal government, public utilities, higher education, or other public-sector organizations.
  • Preferred experience conducting executive or senior leadership searches.
  • Preferred experience recruiting for hard-to-fill professional or technical roles.
  • Preferred experience working with hiring committees, senior executives, or multiple stakeholders.
  • Preferred ability to manage several searches concurrently.
