Description
- Join structured corporate internship activities such as orientation, workshops, networking, research, and professional development sessions.
- Investigate transaction-monitoring alerts involving potential money laundering, terrorist financing, drug trafficking, and other suspicious activity.
- Evaluate customer activity for potential financial crime risks under the BSA/AML framework.
- Record investigative conclusions and maintain complete documentation consistent with financial crime compliance standards.
- Support Financial Intelligence Analysts and investigators with transaction-monitoring reviews, research, and financial crime investigations.
- Prepare research, reports, and special projects for the Financial Intelligence team and wider compliance efforts.
- Work with Financial Intelligence Analysts, team leads, and leadership through meetings, training, and coaching activities.
- Observe company policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and other assigned responsibilities.
- Escalate suspicious activity to Financial Intelligence, customer complaints and procedural violations to management or HR, and ethical concerns through the anonymous Ethics Hotline.
Requirements
- Pursuing an associate degree with sophomore, junior, or senior standing when the internship begins.
- Must remain enrolled and not graduate before the internship start date.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and reasoning abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail.
- Effective organization and time-management abilities.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check is required.
