Payroll Administrator (Hybrid)

Manage domestic and international payroll operations for Fast Enterprises, supporting compliance, accurate reporting, reconciliations, and employee payroll inquiries.

Description

  • Manage the preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of domestic and international payroll across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Review and audit employee timesheets.
  • Calculate and record payroll deductions and taxable benefits.
  • Perform recurring payroll audits to verify accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company policies.
  • Monitor payroll legislation and labor laws, implementing required compliance updates.
  • Prepare ad hoc and customized reports for leadership, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Complete state labor surveys and employment or income verification requests.
  • Reconcile payroll information with accounting and financial records in partnership with Finance and HR.
  • Act as the primary contact for payroll-related questions.
  • Explain payroll policies, tax forms, and self-service tools to employees.
  • Maintain clear documentation of payroll procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance on cross-functional initiatives and system implementations.
  • Share payroll insights and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in payroll, accounting, human resources, or a related area.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow, Lyric, Celergo, or comparable payroll platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel features such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Capacity to adapt promptly in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, manage stressful situations, and maintain professionalism.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while responding constructively to management guidance and feedback.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship currently or in the future in the United States or Canada.
